SARAH HUTT is Boston-based visual artist who divides her time between her studio practice and her work as a public art consultant and arts and community advocate.

In addition to exhibiting her project-based, mixed media artwork in Boston and throughout the United States, Hutt has been recognized with numerous awards, artist residencies, and grants. Her art has received extensive press coverage and her work is held in many public and private collections.

Alongside her own studio practice, Hutt has more than 25 years of experience championing artists, community and culture through arts advocacy and administration. Her own experiences as an artist informs her advocacy work. As the former Director of Visual Arts for the City of Boston, she initiated  some of the the first programming for individual artists in Boston.
